Our Pastor at First Presbyterian Church

| Pastor: The Reverend, Dr. Richard Hutchison Known as "Hutch" by family, friends, and parishioners. |
An ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church (USA), The Reverend, Dr.
Richard Hutchison, "Hutch', was granted the status of Honorably Retired after
forty years as a pastor. He has served congregations in Pennsylvania, Illinois,
Indiana, Colorado, and the Westminster Presbyterian Church of Sacramento
from 1980 until 1988. Reverend Hutchison retired as Senior Pastor of the 2000
member First Presbyterian Church of Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he headed a
staff of more than 47 persons. His pastoral career reached an exciting climax
when he was endorsed by the Presbytery of Whitewater Valley and the Synod of
Lincoln Trails as a candidate for Moderator of the 210th General Assembly.
Since retiring he has had three interim pastorates:
Valley Community Presbyterian Church of Manteca, CA - 22 months
Peace Presbyterian Church of Elk Grove, CA - 20 months
Cordova Presbyterian Church of Rancho Cordova, CA - 17 months
Most recently, he served for seven months as Temporary Supply at St. John's
Presbyterian Church of Reno, Nevada.
We at First Church are excited to have "Hutch" lead us in the Worship of our
Lord, Jesus Christ.
